Despite growing awareness of climate change, solar energy adoption in the U.S. remains low. Most people associate solar with high costs, technical complexity, and long-term commitment. Education around renewable energy is limited, impersonal, and often inaccessible—especially for younger audiences and low-income communities.
At the same time, cities like Savannah are actively pushing sustainability initiatives (e.g., Savannah 100% Project) but struggle with public engagement.
Opportunity:
What if solar energy wasn’t explained—but experienced?
The Problem
Solar energy education today is abstract, intimidating, and disconnected from everyday life—resulting in low engagement and poor adoption despite high awareness.
